The Department of Interior of is providing financing for the Alaska Coastal Marine Institute.

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement is funding $750,000 for Offshore Energy and Minerals Management Program.

Under this program research on the development of oil, natural gas, minerals and other renewable energy is carried out.

It also includes information sharing, resource sharing and joint monitoring with affected states.

Funding in Support of Experimental Elementary Particle Physics

The National Science Foundation is funding $50 million in three projects on Particle Physics.

These projects are going to support accelerator and non accelerator experiments as well as high energy experiments.

The Study will be conducted by University scientists and students and it includes forces of nature, early history of universe, high intensity neutrino beams, etc.
