Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC) is a non-profit regional corporation, formed by ANSCA in 1971, serving the Alaska Native community of the Fairbanks North Star Borough in the Alaskan interior. TCC proposes to form a loan fund that will apply for certification as a CDFI.

Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC) will use the award to acquire training for staff and to purchase hardware and software for lending.



NACTA (2002) - $98,250

The Fund"s technical assistance grant of $98,250 will be used to hire consultants to help the organization to develop a capitalization strategy, refine its market, and establish foundational policies; and to send staff and board members to trainings that will focus on CDFI management, underwriting/lending principles and key elements to consider in establish a CDFI.
