Navajo Partnership for Housing, Inc. (NPH), established in 1996, is a certified community development financial institution with a mission of creating homeownership opportunities on the Navajo Nation through innovative approaches to financing and flexible products.

NACA (2004) - $240,000

The award that the Navajo Partnership for Housing, Inc. (NPH) received includes $190,000 to be used as loan capital. The remaining $50,000 is a technical assistance grant that the they will use to obtain consulting services for the revision of loan policies and procedures, and development of legal documents; acquire computer hardware and software technology for staff; provide staff salary for design of financial systems; and send staff to training.



NACTA (2002) - $96,000

NPH will use the Fund"s $96,000 technical assistance grant to develop a capitalization strategy, to increase staff knowledge of the technical aspects of mortgage lending and to purchase technology to improve organizational efficiency. The grant will also support the development of a curriculum to educate other professionals involved in the lending process about facilitating mortgage lending on and near the Navajo Nation.
