Colorado Housing Enterprises, LLC (CHE) is a start-up CDFI with a mission of increasing home -ownership opportunities for low-income families in Alamosa, El Paso, and Routt Counties in Colorado.

CDFI Awards for Colorado Housing Enterprises, LLC


TA (2005) - $50,000

CHE will use the 2005 TA grant of $50,000 to 1) obtain consulting services to undertake a market research and analysis, design and develop new products, and expand its line of services provided to the low income communities; 2) to purchase upgraded software and hardware for data collection, loan servicing, and video conferencing; and 3) to obtain training for staff / board members on community lending, home buyer counseling and Native American development.

FA (2005) - $396,000

CHE will use the $396,000 2005 financial assistance award to expand its target market, develop new products, better track community development impacts - all resulting in better service to its clients.



CORE (2000) - $500,000

The CDFI Fund"s $500,000 capital grant will help capitalize CHE"s revolving loan fund to provide down payment and closing cost assistance to the organization"s underserved target market.



SECA (1999) - $46,500

The technical assistance award will be used for consulting training and the purchase of technology.



SECA (1998) - $23,000

The $23,000 CDFI Fund Technical Assistance grant will be used to purchase technology, and obtain consulting services to develop lending policies and procedures, conduct market studies and strategic planning. The CDFI Fund award will help CRHDC expand its services to provide improved housing to families in rural Colorado.
