Michigan Housing Trust Fund was founded in 1985 to provide capital and technical assistance to support the building and rehabilitation of affordable housing for low-income individuals and communities throughout Michigan. Its borrowers are community-based organizations developing affordable housing for low- and moderate-income families and individuals.

CDFI Awards for Michigan Housing Trust Fund


CORE (2002) - $285,000

The Fund"s grant will help MHTF implement a new land assembly loan product to site acquisition for further housing development. Technical Assistance will be used to enhance staff capacity and organizational development.



CORE (1999) - $520,000

The CDFI Fund"s $520,000 award ($500,000 capital grant, $20,000 technical assistance grant) will support the growth of the organization"s lending activities.
