Established in May 2000, Midwest Housing Development Fund LLC (MHDF) provides financial and development services to increase the supply of rental housing units for elderly and low-income individuals and families in the Midwest.

Midwest Housing Development Fund (Midwest HDF) is a certified CDFI established in 2001. Midwest HDF provides affordable housing development loan products and services in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma. The organization will use its FY2009 Financial Assistance award as affordable housing lending capital with an emphasis on rural Kansas.



SECA (2002) - $170,000

The Fund"s financial assistance will be used to increase MHDF"s capital for on-lending to rental housing developers. The technical assistance will be used to research loan tracking software, for purchase and installation of loan servicing software, and for training staff in how to use the software.
