The New York City Financial Network Action Consortium is an intermediary CDFI established in 1999 to address the needs of New York City’s leading community development CDFI credit unions. The organization is a certified CDFI offering grants as well as operational and technical assistance to its consortium members. It will use its FY09 Technical Assistance award to cover the personnel, consultants, and equipment costs related to transitioning the consortium members onto the same data processing network. This conversion will significantly improve efficiencies and improve the credit unions’ ability to offer products and services to members.
