Economic Opportunity Fund is a nonprofit small and micro-business lender in operation since 1999. It is a certified CDFI serving the Greater Philadelphia area with a Target Market of low-to-moderate income women and minorities. Economic Opportunity Fund offers loan products ranging from $500 to $35,000 and provides extensive entrepreneurial training, technical assistance, individual counseling and financial literacy education. It will use its FY 2009 Financial Assistance award to increase lending to its Target Market.
