The Quinault Indian Nation is a sponsoring entity located in Northwest Washington that is establishing a Native CDFI called Taala Fund. The Quinault Indian Nation provides business and credit builder loans, an Individual Development Account program, and development services to promote private businesses, asset-building, and financial literacy. The Taala Fund will serve all residents of the Quinault Indian Nation Reservation and any Tribal member. It will use the FY 2009 NACA award for: 1) staff salary and fringe; 2) staff training and travel; 3) consultant services; 4) training materials; and 5) computers and loan management software.
