TULIP received a financial assistance award of $150,000 to provide operational liquidity. TULIP will use the technical assistance grant of $50,000 to 1) to purchase a laptop and related peripherals and software to upgrade its mostly donated systems and to implement an online banking feature; 2) pay for staff/board training in credit union management and marketing and product development; and 4) to cover salary costs for staff members to conduct outreach and financial literacy programs.
