Ho-Chunk Housing and Community Development Agency is the Sponsoring Entity of a proposed new non-profit Native CDFI that will focus on providing home ownership mortgages for residents on the Winnebago Indian Reservation. Its key product will be mortgages with highly flexible underwriting guidelines and IDA accounts to help clients start to save for homeownership. Ho-Chunk will use the 2007 TA grant to assist in the legal creation of the CDFI, develope a business plan, define the products and write policies and procedures.
