NACD (2004) - $99,800

The Lac Du Flambeau Chippewa Housing Authority desires to create a housing loan fund, a type of community development financial institution, to serve the Lac Du Flambeau Reservation in Wisconsin. The Authority is receiving a Native American CDFI Development (NACD) Program grant in the amount of $99,800 to: acquire training for its CDFI development team; to pay staff and consultants to develop a credit-counseling curriculum; develop policies and procedures; and to conduct a market analysis and to establish the CDFI. The grant will also be used to purchase computer equipment for this new CDFI.
