Northern Wisconsin Environmental Infrastructure (Section 154) - ARRA

To provide environmental assistance to non-Federal interests in northern Wisconsin to include the counties of Douglas, Ashland, Bayfield, and Iron.

Assistance may be in the form of design and construction assistance for water-related environmental infrastructure and resource protection and development
projects in northern Wisconsin, including projects for: wastewater treatment and related facilities, water supply related facilities, environmental restoration; and surface water resource protection and development.

Criteria for Selecting Proposals

Projects in northern Wisconsin are recommended by a Section 154 selection committee made up County and Tribal representatives from the included counties (Douglas, Ashland, Bayfield, and Iron) and the congressional office.


Co-founders William Mann and David Mravyan devised the Sensimat during a mandatory project for their MBA at the Richard Ivey School of Business in Canada. Sensimat is a device that helps manage and assess pressure among wheelchair users.
