Captive Propagation and Reintroduction of Large-flowered Fiddleneck (Amsinckia grandiflora) in Contra Costa, Alameda, and San Joaquin Counties, California – Phase 2 Monitoring

The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a grant agreement to Vollmar Natural Lands Consulting, Inc.

(VNLC) under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 1 5. 564, Central Valley Project Conservation Program, Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act, as amended,

16 U.S.C., Section 661 et seq., of 195 6. Estimated total amount of agreement is $273,46 4. 0 0. Reclamation is providing $98,42 4. 00 in Fiscal Year 201 7. The purpose of this project is to add more time as needed for supplemental planting to try to stabilize the critically endangered Large-flower fiddleneck populations at the four most successful reintroduction sites due to extreme weather in the last five years.
