Rhinoceros and Tiger Conservation Fund - AFRICA

In response to the alarming decline of rhinoceros and tiger populations, the U. S. Congress passed the Rhinoceros and Tiger Conservation Act in 199 4. The Act provides for the establishment of the Rhinoceros and Tiger Conservation Fund (RTCF), to be administered by the U. S. Fish & Wildlife Service

(USFWS) to provide financial assistance to support projects that work to conserve populations of rhinoceros and tigers in the wild.

The RTCF accepts proposals for rhinoceros in Africa and for rhinoceros and tigers in Asia.

This Notice of Funding Opportunity is to solicit proposals for the conservation of African rhinoceros only.
