Central Asian 48 Hour Film Race and the Independent Film Network

The Public Affairs Section of the Consulate General of the United States in Almaty, Kazakhstan and the Embassy of the United States in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan (Mission Kazakhstan) are pleased to announce an open competition for assistance awards through this Notice of Funding Opportunity.

Mission
Kazakhstan invites all eligible organizations to submit a proposal for the operation of the Central Asian 48 Hour Film Race and the continued maintenance and development of the Central Asian Independent Film Network.The 48 Hour Film Race is a program that supports the growth and development of emerging independent filmmakers across Central Asia through a signature two-day contest in which teams, of up to five individuals, consisting of both amateur and professional filmmakers, create a short film in 48 hours.

This funding opportunity is limited to U. S. and Kazakhstan registered not-for-profit, civil society/non-governmental organizations, and educational institutions with at least two years of programming experience.
