OJJDP FY 20 National Gang Center

The purpose of this program is to provide the National Gang Center funding to support OJJDP's mission to provide national leadership, coordination, and resources to prevent and respond to gang violence.

Training and technical assistance (TTA) will support the efforts of state, local, and
tribal jurisdictions to develop and implement effective gang-reduction initiatives.

These initiatives will enhance public safety, ensure that youth are held appropriately accountable to both victims and communities, and empower youth to live productive, law-abiding lives.

In addition, NGC will support project sites funded under the proposed OJJDP FY 20 gang solicitations.
