Strengthening Private Sector Engagement to Counter Synthetic Drug Trafficking

By supporting the development of improved coordination mechanisms between governments and the private sector, and within relevant industries, the State Department intends to create disruptions in the illicit synthetic drug supply chain, making it more difficult for dangerous substances to reach the United
States and thereby protecting the public.

This project will strengthen relations between government authorities and private sector entities to ensure all parties are knowledgeable on emerging criminal trends that rely on the use of private sector platforms.

Activities under this project will further empower the private sector to identify suspicious customers and take remedial action to prevent exploitation of their products, services, and platforms.
