NIST Construction Grant Program

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), United States Department of Commerce (DoC), is soliciting grant proposals for construction of research science buildings.

NIST anticipates funding 3-5 projects with the Federal shares in the $10 million - $15 million range and with a project

credit:


period of performance of up to five (5) years, although there is an expectation that most of the projects will be completed prior to 5 years.

The anticipated start date will be one month after the award is made.

The period of performance depends on the construction schedule proposed.

Non-Federal cost sharing of at least 20 percent of the yearly total allowable project costs is required.

Cost sharing does not include unallowable/ineligible costs.
