The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a cooperative agreement to Pyramid Lake Fisheries under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 1 5. 517, Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act of 1934, Public Law 85-624, 16 U.S.C.
661 et seq., as amended, and Section
7(a) of the Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act (FWCA) (70 Stat 1122; 16 U.S.C.
742f(a)); as limited and delegated by the Secretary of the Interior delegation of authority to the Bureau of Reclamation at 255 DM 1. 1B.
Estimated total amount of agreement is $45,10 9. 0 0. Reclamation is providing $45,10 9. 00 in Fiscal Year 201 8. This project will:
(1) Assist in the prevention or spread of AIS in Pyramid Lake and other waterbodies via contaminated watercraft; (2) Assist in preventing introductions of new AIS in Pyramid Lake by contaminated watercraft; (3) Assist with protecting the waters, native wildlife, and recreational fisheries by preventing or slowing the spread of AIS;and (4) Extend the life of the current AIS decontamination station.
