Gales and Clear Creek Confluence Implementation

The Gales Creek Subbasin Restoration Action Plan identified increasing floodplain connectivity, particularly Clear Creek’s confluence with Gales Creek as a priority action to address restoration goal 2:
restore aquatic and floodplain habitat to benefit fish and wildlife portions.

The TRWC

proposes to conduct the design and permitting work necessary for the implementation of this priority project.

The proposal will also advance future restoration work by conducting outreach to community members and organizations with the intent of leveraging volunteers for stewardship activities and developing additional restoration opportunities.
