Strengthening detection, prevention and response to infectious disease threats in Kazakhstan

CDC would like to support the Ministry of Health in the Republic of Kazakhstan to 1) provide training and mentorship to Public Health Emergency Operations Center staff, 2) respond to outbreaks and implement investigative studies, 3) strengthen COVID-19 surveillance, 4) improve laboratory testing, investigate

barriers to combat antimicrobial resistant pathogens, 5) share lessons learned with countries in the region.
