The National Nuclear Security Administration is issuing this sources sought announcement as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest and the resources to support a project for maintaining a smaller, but still vibrant, community of nuclear experts to support U. S. strategic

nuclear capabilities.

NNSA is searching for potential sources to foster the debate on nuclear weapons policy by focusing on current, critical issues concerning the nuclear deterrent including NNSA’s “Complex 2030” and responsive infrastructure (see purpose below for specific objectives).

The results of this announcement will contribute towards the development of a potential Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) / Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
