Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (DOE EPSCoR) Implementation Grants

The U. S. Department of Energy ‘s Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (DOE EPSCoR) hereby announces its interest in receiving applications from eligible jurisdictions for Implementation Grants.

The applications are sought for research in key science and technology areas related

to DOE Missions as limited by the specific language of this FOA and as identified by the jurisdiction ‘s EPSCoR governing committee or other appropriate organization on behalf of the jurisdiction.

For this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), the inclusion of modeling and simulation utilizing high performance computing with appropriate experimental validation is encouraged.

There is also a listing of areas of either specific interest or disinterest under this FOA in the Supplementary Information.

Proposals and letters of intent that propose research in areas of disinterest will be deemed non-responsive to the FOA and returned without review.

Please review this list carefully when considering preparation of a potential application.

below are eligible to apply except: DOE National Laboratories, other Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) Contractors, and nonprofit organizations described in section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 that engaged in lobbying activities after December 31, 1995.
