Ambassador's Special Self Help Fund

Embassy Kinshasa's Special Self Help program provides small grants of less than $13,000 to registered self-help community based organizations and certain educational instructions and medical facilities.

The objective is to aid groups in the development of projects that improve living conditions,

The funds do not support the creation of a project or activity, but rather the expansion of existing community projects.All Special Self-Help projects are community-based, initiated locally, administrated at the local level, and include significant community contributions in labor or materials.
