Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Cybersecurity Capacity Building

The U. S. Department of State (DOS), U. S. Embassy Majuro announces this Notice of Funding Opportunity (“NOFO”) for Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Cybersecurity Capacity Building.A cooperative agreement for up to $500,000 U. S. Dollars (USD) in FY 2020 Economic Support Funds (ESF)

will be awarded (pending availability of funds) for work that will support the Republic of the Marshall Islands’ (RMI) aspiration to establish the ability to secure its Information and Communications Technology (ICT) from illegal and malicious intrusion by 1) developing an effective, Government-wide regulatory framework; 2) developing a cyber-ready workforce; and 3) by demonstrating effective cybersecurity systems and procedures for one or more select services.

The period of performance is two years.

Funding authority rests in the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended.
