Purpose of Program:
The Native Hawaiian Career and Technical Education Program (NHCTEP) provides grants to eligible applicants to plan, conduct, and administer programs, or portions of programs, that are authorized by and consistent with the purposes of section 116 of the Carl D.

Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006 (Act) for the benefit of Native Hawaiians.

Applications for grants under the NHCTEP, CFDA number 8 4. 259A, must be submitted electronically using the Governmentwide Grants.gov Apply site at www.Grants.gov.

Additional Information of Eligibility:

Eligible Applicants (a) Community-based organizations primarily serving and representing Native Hawaiians.

For purposes of the NHCTEP, a community-based organization means a public or private organization that provides career and technical education, or related services, to individuals in the Native Hawaiian community.

(b) Any community-based organization may apply individually or as a part of a consortium with one or more eligible community-based organizations.
