Purpose of Program:
The purpose of the TIF program is to support, develop, and implement sustainable Performance-based Compensation Systems for teachers, principals, and other personnel in High-Need Schools,1 within the context of a local educational agency's (LEA's) overall Human Capital Management System, in order to increase Educator effectiveness and student achievement in those schools.

Applications for grants under the Teacher Incentive Fund, CFDA number 8 4. 374A, must be submitted electronically using the Governmentwide Grants.gov Apply site at www.Grants.gov.
