This Funding Opportunity seeks proposals to develop a thorough analysis of the current policies, mandates, institutional relationships and practices that affect decisions and actions by conservation entities in Hawaiâ¿¿i regarding climate change adaptation, and recommendations for potential improvements.
The results of this analysis will help the member organizations of the PICCC to more efficiently implement climate change adaptation in conservation and thus achieve the goal of the HITAI.
Conservation entities include the State of Hawaiâ¿¿i Department of Land and Natural Resources, The Nature Conservancy of Hawaiâ¿¿i, Kamehameha Schools, the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, the National Park Service, the Trust for Public Lands, the Hawaiian Islands Land Trust, and the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
As these entities are members of the PICCC Steering Committee, they should be considered to be willing participants in this analysis.
