The protection and conservation of water resources is no longer a localized issue.

Today, this is a real issue that affects local, regional, and national priorities and Alabama⿿s future water needs for public supplies, economic activity, and energy are undoubtedly going to continue to increase in the future.

Therefore, sustainable water use and production, as well as sustainable habitat for wildlife and fish, will be the keys to meeting these priorities into the future.
