Reintroduction of Trifolium amoenum at Ring Mountain

Funds under this award are to be used to reintroduce Trifolium amoenum to Ring Mountain, Marin County.

The objective of the project is to compare survival and fitness of the two ecotypes of the species and to compare establishment success of seeding versus transplants.

If successful,

the project would have a clear benefit in that it would drastically increase the range and would protect the species from stochastic events that could affect the single natural population at Dillon Beach, Marin County.
