Afghanistan Legal Education

This project will complement ongoing INL programs which work with public and private Afghan universities, US law schools, and legal professionals to promote access to education opportunities for aspiring Afghan justice professionals, both within and outside of Afghanistan, and emphasize practical skills

and critical thinking ability through the use of interactive teaching methods.

Specifically, the project will continue to refine and improve the four-year Bachelor of Art and Law degree program at AUAF; improve the legal studies curriculum; continue to research, draft, and publish high quality, original textbooks and other teaching materials; and transition the law department, including the funding and administration, in its entirety to AUAF.
