BLM OR-WA Inner City Youth Institute Program

Inner City Youth Institute Program is a long term, positive youth program aimed at under represented and under served teens and their younger peers.

This program emphasizes natural resources management, conservation, and protection in order to instill an appreciation of our public lands and to

create the next generation of public land stewards.

Using natural and cultural resources youth develop skills in science, technology, engineering, and math in order to improve academic progress in school and to increase participation in science and natural resource learning, entry into related colleges programs and potential careers in natural resources management.
