Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) Community Fire Assistance was established by the Department of the Interior and Related Agencies Act to allow the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to enter into financial assistance agreements with local communities to reduce the risk and impact of catastrophic wildfires.
