The Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program (LB21) supports developing a diverse workforce of librarians to better meet the changing learning and information needs of the American public by:
enhancing the training and professional development of librarians, developing faculty and library leaders,
and recruiting and educating the next generation of librarians.We have two FY18 LB21 funding opportunities, each with two separate deadlines.
In addition to the opportunity described in this Notice of Funding Opportunity, a separate LB21 funding opportunity was announced in July 2017 with a preliminary proposal application submission due date in September 201 7. Both opportunities are subject to the availability of funds and IMLS discretion and procedures.
