Walking the Walk on Combating Gender-Based Violence in Myanmar: Journalist Training

The U. S. Embassy announces the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for a training program for journalists to sensitize and raise awareness of media throughout the country regarding gender-based violence, and in turn, increase the amount of coverage on the topic to improve community awareness across

In addition to improving basic journalist skills via media training, journalists from a variety of news outlets will learn how to report on this issue for print, broadcast, and digital media, ensuring a sensitive approach to the subject as well as broad reach throughout Myanmar.
