Repair Trails and Mark Boundary Lines at Shenandoah NP

THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS.This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service’s intention to award a task agreement under a previously competed or single source justified master cooperative agreement.

This project goal is to engage youth

in conservation projects through hands-on experience conducting deferred maintenance trail work along popular backcountry trails.

The work addresses critical infrastructure repair including tread work and water control structures and boundary marking of 18 miles of park.

- Eligibility for U. S. institutions is limited to not-for-profit organizations and academic institutions subject to 501(c)(3) of the tax code.

- Applicants must have demonstrated expertise in cultural exchange programs and/or English language education.

- Secondary partners may include independent research institutes, relevant governmental organizations, and private non-profit organizations with project-related educational objectives.
