Operation of an NPS Multi-park Museum Storage Facility

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD:
This is not a request for applications.

This provides public notice of the National Park Service’s intention to award a cooperative agreement.This project will support the Natchez Collection Management Center, a multi-park NPS museum storage and research facility

in Natchez, Mississippi.

The facility will provide the appropriate environmental conditions, physical security controls and other long-term curatorial services required for the collections as well as provide public access to all of the NPS cultural resources housed there.

Per 36 CFR 79, a Cooperative Agreement is an appropriate legal instrument for the preservation “curatorial services” of historic objects.
