OJJDP FY 2014 Enhancements to Juvenile Drug Courts

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) envisions a nation where our children are healthy, educated, and free from violence.

If they come into contact with the juvenile justice system, the contact should be rare, fair and beneficial to them.

To fulfill this vision,

A juvenile drug court provides comprehensive, developmentally appropriate, community-based services for youth who come in contact with the juvenile justice system due to alcohol or other drug use.
