OVW FY 2016 Technical Assistance Initiative Solicitation

The primary purpose of the OVW Technical Assistance Program is to provide direct technical assistance to existing and potential grantees and sub grantees to enhance and support their efforts to successfully implement projects supported by OVW grant funds.

the capacity of criminal justice and victim services organizations to respond effectively to sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking and fostering partnerships among organizations that have not traditionally worked together to address violence against women.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
National, tribal, statewide or other nonprofit organizations with the capacity to provide national training and technical assistance.

OVW will support state, local or tribal governments or governmental agencies (e.g., police departments, prosecutor’s offices, or probation departments), or local non-profit organizations however, in such circumstances, those entities must describe in detail their demonstrated history of providing training and technical assistance, and documentation that they have delivered training and TA to a national audience.
