Limited Competition: Strategic Timing of Antiretroviral Treatment (START) (UM1)
The purpose of this limited competition Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to continue support to complete the Strategic Timing of Antiretroviral Treatment (START) trial.
START is a randomized clinical trial to determine if immediate initiation of antiretroviral treatment (ART) in HIV-positive
patients is superior in delaying the occurrence of AIDS, non-AIDS events and death.
