National Cancer Institute Program Project Applications (P01)

With this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), the National Cancer Institute (NCI) invites applications for investigator-initiated program project (P01) grants.

Proposed program projects may address any of the broad areas of cancer research, including (but not limited to) cancer biology, cancer

credit: Top News


prevention, cancer diagnosis, cancer treatment, and cancer control.

Basic, translational, clinical, and/or population-based studies in all of these research areas are appropriate.

Each Program Project application must consist of at least three projects.

The projects must share a common central theme, focus, and/or overall objective.

S. Territory or Possession; Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are not eligible to apply.

Non-domestic (non-U.S.) components of U. S. Organizations are eligible to apply.

Foreign components, as defined in the NIH Grants Policy Statement, are allowed.
