NIDCR Mentored Career Development Award to Promote Diversity in the Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Research Workforce (K01)

The purpose of this NIDCR Mentored Career Development Award is to enhance the diversity of the independently funded dental, oral and craniofacial research workforce by providing a mentored research experience for eligible postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty who are from groups that have been shown

to be underrepresented in the basic and clinical biomedical, behavioral, and social sciences.

This award provides salary and research support for a sustained period of protected time for intensive research career development under the guidance of an experienced mentor.
