This project is designed to complete compilation of the PXAO’s cultural resource report library and associated data for dissemination to and use by qualified professionals and the public.
Reclamation is providing this service to make cultural resource reports and data more readily available
to the public, including qualified cultural resource professionals, researchers, and state, county, and other Federal land managers, pursuant to the stipulations set forth in the Archeological and Historic Preservation Act of 197 4. The Center for Digital Antiquity will host these data to on their secure digital platform, tDAR, for reference and use by registered and qualified users.
Ultimately the public will benefit from these actions through the digital dissemination of “grey literature,” which is not widely available, yet critical to the continued management of cultural resources.
The project will contribute to the long-term curation, retention, dissemination, and use of cultural resource data.
