This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) invites applications from institutions/organizations willing to participate with the NICHD as the Data Coordinating Center in an ongoing multicenter clinical program designed to study clinical and health aspects of pelvic floor disorders in women.Pelvic floor
disorders for the purpose of this FOA include urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and other sensory and emptying abnormalities of the lower urinary and gastrointestinal tracts.Particular attention will be paid to applicants that develop innovative solutions to the challenging problems in women with pelvic floor disorders and reduce the burden of this condition in women.
