This project will support an evaluation of up to two locally-developed or adapted and potentially effective but insufficiently evaluated, interventions that are designed to deliver a combination of HIV prevention, HIV care and treatment, and other social and structural support services to transgender
credit:
persons who have sex with men who are at risk for HIV infection or who are living with HIV.
Combination HIV prevention interventions must have been locally developed or locally adapted by the applicant or partnering Community Based Organization (CBO), Community Health Center (CHC) or Community Service Organization (CSO), and may be referred to as ‘homegrown’ combination HIV prevention interventions.
Applicants may choose to evaluate a homegrown intervention either HIV infected or HIV-uninfected transgender persons.
Applicants will propose evaluation plans that meet CDC published criteria for evidence.
