Using Real-time Prescription and Insurance Claims Data to Support the HIV Care Continuum

The purpose of this research project is to use medical and pharmacy claims data in real-time to:
1) identify HIV-infected patients who have stopped filling anti-retroviral (ARV) prescriptions and to target these individuals for adherence and retention intervention(s) (Category A); and 2) identify

persons living with HIV (including pregnant women) and to ensure these individuals are receiving ARV therapy - Medical and Pharmacy Claims (Category B).
