Funding Opportunity Announcement Summary The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Georgia is requesting applications to provide 2 technical services.

Applicant can submit an application on one service, or both services.

There is no requirement for an application to include

Easement Monitoring:
Provide easement monitoring services for all stewardship lands in conservation easements by NRCS in Georgia.

This would include all programs:
Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP), Grasslands Reserve Program (GRP), Farm and Ranchland Protection Program (FRPP), Agricultural Conservation Easement Program – Wetlands Reserve Easement (ACEP-WRE), Healthy Forest Reserve Program (HFRP), Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) easements, and others.

There are 2 types of monitoring activities:
Onsite and Offsite.

At the time of this listing NRCS GA has 192 easements that need monitoring every year.

OR Restoration Implementation:
Implementation of restoration activities on eligible Agricultural Conservation Easement Program-Wetland Reserve Easement (ACEP-WRE.) At the time of this listing, NRCS GA has 24 properties in need of restoration implementation.

Applications are being requested from eligible entities for competitive, such as:
For profit organizations other than small businesses Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized) Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments) Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS (other than institutions of higher education) Nonprofits that do not have a 501 (c)(3) status with the IRS (other than institutions of higher education) Public and State-controlled institutions of higher education Small Businesses State governments Information related to NRCS Easement Programs can be found at the following links:
