DoD Hearing and Balance Research Award

The FY17 JPC-8/CRMRP Hearing and Balance Research Award is intended to support translational preclinical research, observational studies, and early-stage clinical trials addressing auditory and vestibular dysfunction associated with military service.

The intent of the award is to advance treatment/assessment

strategies and evidence-based practice to optimize the rehabilitation of vestibular and hearing dysfunction resulting from military service-related injuries.

Ultimately, the goal is to develop and transition knowledge and materiel products to restore Service member’s form, function, and quality of life, benefitting Service members, Veterans, their caregivers and family members, and the American public.
