NMTC (2002) - $40,000,000

Cahaba will utilize its NMTC allocation to provide equity and loans to commercial real estate projects, including retail, community service, office, for-sale housing, and light industrial/commercial service uses. Cahaba believes that the NMTC allocation will enable it to offer more favorable products, including loans at below-market rates; and that the discount afforded by the NMTC will lead to lower rents in the low-income neighborhoods, thereby making commercial and retail users more capable of profit in its target location.
